Cooking is very expansive in Pig Valley. There are many recipes, and you will be unlikely to craft them all. But how do you make them? Let's take "Beef Stew" for example.
A beef stew requires:
beef
carrot
potato
It needs to be made in a "Cooking Pot" over a "Stove". All you need to do is put the pot on the stove, put the ingredients in the pot, and wait. Then, serve it with some wooden bowls and done!
Most recipes are similar to this, but may need slightly different tools, like a chopping board and a knife or a skillet.

You can brew beers, whiskey and other malty drinks using a "Brewing Station" and a silo. You may need to dry some crops in the silo first, like "Barley", then place your ingredients in the empty compartment in the "Brewing Station" (Brewing Station pictured on the right of the image)
Then, fuel the furnace side of the station with coal, and place a water bucket - now wait! There may be three minigames for you to complete in order to get the best drink:
red particles - click the timer side
whistling - put more water in
overflowing - take water out
After some time, you should have yourself a solid drink! Enjoy!
Alongside crafting beers and whiskeys, you can also make wines! These take a bit more effort, and benefit from being set up early in your world.
To get started, make sure you have:
ingredients for the wine you want to make
sugar
wine bottles
grapevine pot
fermentation barrel
apple press, depending on what you make
As an example, let's make some red wine:
Squish some red grapes on the grapevine pot (right click grapes into the pot, then jump to squish!)
Pick up the juice using a wine bottle
Stick that wine bottle into the top left slot of a fermentation barrel
Put some sugar in the bottom slots, and your wine should start fermenting.
After you have made your first wine bottle, congratulations! You can now drink it. Will it be tasty? Probably not... You haven't aged it yet!
Aging wine bottles requires you to hold them in display containers for many, many days. The longer you hold them for, the stronger the effects of the wine will be.
The containers accepted, of the various wood types, are:
wine rack
bottle storage
