I've heard some of y'all like grinding. So we have some grindy things for you to do!
Pressing J (default) will reveal the class skill trees.
These will contain upgrades and boosts to spells and abilities. You can craft an "Orb of Oblivion" to reset the class tree.
You may ONLY go down the path of one class.
Turns out the old skill trees WERE very busted :P
You may pick from a variety of classes and subclasses of typical RPG archetypes, such as Crusader, Healer, Warrior, Wizard, etc. Each of these have unique spells.
In order to acquire these spells, you need a "Spell Binding Table". This is used to create the spell books containing... well... spells. These can be equipped in your accessories slot in order to grant you access to these spells, when holding an eligible item such as a Wand or a Sword.
First, put a book and lapis into the Spell Binding Table, and surround it with bookshelves like you would a normal enchanting table. With the book, you are able to create a class specific spell book. For a fire wizard, that would be a "Tome of Fire".
After this, you can embed spells into your specific spell book by putting it in the table, feeding it lapis, then picking your spells.
There are a variety of spells, and a variety of weapons that you can choose. Given there is now no OP AS HECK skill tree, use these wisely and team up to take on the harder dungeons.
In villages, you may find blocks like this. These are bounty boards, and offer up mini quests for you to either kill mobs, fetch items, etc. Completing them will often reward you with something nifty!
There is a ton of loot to collect in Pig Valley. Artifacts can offer really powerful effects, and you can slot these in to your accessory slots. (To access accessories, press the weird icon in your inventory. )
Some Aether gear can be put in these slots, and also tool belts and backpacks can be used here too.
Also not to mention HATS! But they are cosmetic...
There are 12 bosses in Pig Valley, including the vanilla ones (Ender Dragon, Wither, Warden, Elder Guardian) . Not gonna name them all here, but keep an eye out for structures as you're exploring, as you may just stumble upon them.
Some are stronger, some are weaker. I definitely suggest gearing up well in order to take these on. See if you can collect all of them in your Field Guide!
