"Harv", Curator of the Arts and Culture, Ph.D, has recently put out an announcement of an "Open Call". They are looking for participants to fill their newly built gallery space.
Any aspiring photographers should definitely reach out, as this could be an incredible opportunity in the hard-to-enter world of photography.
New Tristam is a newly founded town, just west off spawn. It has a population of 7, and boasts some great up-and-coming businesses, including:
Auto-Bam - A local, carbon neutral bamboo farm supporting the locals.
Cactus and Co. - New franchise, focusing on growing cactus and green dye.
Andrei's Photo Dojo HQ - With a shop already existing in spawn, its HQ is based in New Tristam. This is where photos get developed and curated.
It is connected to Spawn via a bridge, which means it's got easy access to the rest of the world. New infrastructure spending has also been approved, and work is undergoing for bridges supporting the Southern Road.
New Tristam's mayor, Andrei, had a few words for us:
"LALALALALALLALA IM JUST A MAYOR ON PIG VALLEY"
Very inspiring!
In this world, we had a surge of player numbers in July, however it's turned quiet recently. This is not necessarily a bad thing as the world can recover slowly to its more normal slow pace, however it is definitely taking a toll on local businesses.
A local villager, Markus, had this to say:
"Heuh! Huh huuuh hhu huh? Huh!" which roughly translates to: "Wow! Do you think my nose is that big? Idiot!"

The Government-protected area of "The Bumblezone" has been trespassed recently. Two players by the names of "Tubasil" and "MadLad989" were found mining for honey. The bees were rightfully upset, as the players did not have the protection of the Hive, and thus soldier bees were seen stinging the two perpetrators.
Any information about these two players' whereabouts will be very helpful for the B. Police (Bee Police).
